I bought it second hand 10 years ago, and I think it was 40 years old then! Connect a jazz trombonist to the end and guess what you get?

Nick - for really thin and out of tune, you should try playing my small bore B&H Euphonium. I've seen most trombone players try to play that same note on euphonium with the first valve. Here's an interesting thing I've noticed: euphonium players rarely use the wrong positions to get the same notes, like 5th position for second ledger line F# for instance. I guess the same could be said the other way around. Might anyone have a few good soundfont files they could send me?Īll posts spellchecked using a very unreliable beta version of GreyMatter ® ver. One sounded like a MIDI sound, while the other had a very tasteless vibrato. But the best (sarcastic best) part about it is that it is ten cents flat. It sounds like a tuba, but has poor articulation. I downloaded the only two tuba sounds I could find one just did not have a good tuba sound, and the other one was definitely sampled.

Now I have another problem: the accordian sounds I downloaded were absolutely great, but the tuba and clarinet, not so much.
